And I have to add, The Birthday Party (feat. Nick Cave) is one of the finest bands you'll ever want to hear. When Punk rock got boring Nick and Co came along and breathed some new filth into the scene. Quite nice.
KLJ is on tour with The Coexist? Comedy Tour. Visit www.CoexistComedy.com for details on that.
The troupe is getting ready to perform at Sacramento All Sketch next February. www.AllSketch.com.
Becca is writing a novel. We haven't made a blogger of her yet, but I'll bug her about getting us some updates, maybe she'll even allow a sneak peak at the writing.
Some History
We've been around forever now, or since Keith turned 30 which was in 2002. We do sketch comedy lots of it dialogue based, which sounds bad, but we're good at it, no, really. We get comparisons to Kids In The Hall and to Woody Allen, the comparisons are not always meant as compliments. Adjectives we like:
Honest
Scary
Funny
Childlike
Childish
Gay
Politically Correct
Girly
Wienerific (we don't hear this one enough)
We've played the SF Sketchfest, The Seattle Sketchfest, The Sacramento Sketch Fest, The Brown Derby, The Knitting Factory, The M Bar, Spanganga, The Marsh Comedy Festival and a sports bar in Arizona with the super crazy racist troupe opening for us.
