Oh yeah, I almost forgot. You can win free tickets to our shows. Hit this link- FREE TIX
One week till show time. The rehearsals are going well. There's still an amazing amount of work to do, but we're pluggin' along. Our ads are running in the Bee and The News and Review, and our posters and flyers are out all over town. It's exciting to know that we've got posters going up in LA and SF. I've go a story I wrote running in Morbid Curiosity Magazine and they generously offered me some free ad space, so the I Can't Believe It's Not Comedy name will be seen all over the US and internationaly. My unhealthy obsession with fame is growing. Where will it end?

The Peace demonstration was cool. Apparently at least 150 other towns in the US had simillar demonstrations with the biggest in New York. San Francisco holds another big un tommorow, Britain had huge rallies and in Tel Aviv a large anti war crowd was made up of almost equal parts Jews and Arabs. One of the best speakers at this event was a pro Palestine Isreali. It's interesting, a couple of years ago you'd get called an anti-semite just for suggesting that Isreal may not always be in the right and that the Palestinians might have a right to a state of their own. Now I'm worried that we've swung the too far the other direction and are at risk of becoming the real sort of anti-semites. It was good to hear from an intelligent Isreali who I'm sure loves his country and his people and who questions his government just as we question ours. My only complaint is that they should have had more singers, poets, comedians, clown, puppets. They had some, but they had a lot of angry people with their own agenda to try and link to the anti-war cause and that got redundant. Don't get me wrong, there were some fun performers including the ukelele playing World Peace Clowns who were great fun. I want to be more performance art geared myself next time. I didn't wear my Banana costume, but I WILL, so help me I WILL!!!
Peace

Good rehearsal last night. Some new music from Xenophilia will be featured in the Best Of show and the sneak previews we've gotten of it are mighty grand. We've started rehearsing at the Actor's Theater where we're performing. What a great space, I gotta tell ya. This is gonna be so cool. We're now on The Knitting Factory's website so you LA folks can score your advance tickets that away. Remember, hit the link for The AlterKnit Lounge calendar. Valentine's day and a big peace demonstration here in Sac coming up this weekend. I may have to pull out the banana costume again. Tee Hee, he said pull out the banana.

We aint bloggin' too much cuz we're all pretty wrapped up in promoting and rehearsing for the best of tour. It's amazing that we're playing such well known and well respected venues in SF and LA. The buzz going here in Sacramento is great and it's definately growing. We've all been starting to have that odd experience of being recognized by people on the street and told that we're "Hella funny". Not tons of people, every day or anything but it's happening.
We're hoping to cut a CD with some skits and songs and maybe even some video files that can be watched on your computer. Also we're looking into stickers and buttons. Our posters and flyers for the tour came out GREAT. I'll get images of them online right soon.
Well I'm gonna be working for the man all weekend to make up for being home sick the last two days, so I'd better get my nose back to the grindstone.
If you live in Sacramento be sure to check out our own Amber Kloss in Sci-Fi Hotel at The Gerry Theatre. I caught it last night. It's 3 hours long and I think they should maybe cut it to 2, but the 2/3 that I thought was worth keeping was realy good! I'd suggest they use more Amber and less of those people that aren't Amber. Damn those people!

Here is proof from CNN that the Shuttle went back in time and killed its own grandfather,
thus resulting in a time paradox that caused it's demise. Light speed:
not just a good idea, it's a law.
